Two extra hours added to our life.

We would like to thank congress for passing the new day light savings time from this week to next week. Our alarm clock went off at 5:30 am. Bruce (my farm boy) was up and ready to go. He jumped into the shower, shaved and was ready by 6am. He went to eat breakfast and iron his shirt for his 7am meeting when he noticed the kitchen clock said 7am. How could this be when our alarm clock said 6am. Day light savings visited us a week early due to our high technological clock that resets itself every fall and spring no one told it about the new law. So due to modern technology we get to enjoy the changing of mountain standard time twice. We are blessed with two extra hours this year!

So this is just a friendly reminder that this weekend you set your clocks backward an hour thus getting an extra hour of sleep.

To update everyone the kids and I were on time for church and all is well. We are still on day light saving time for one more week.

Earlier this week we enjoyed beautiful fall weather. We were suppose to have a winter weather watch and 35 temp and snow but the storm by passed us and we are still enjoying 60 - 70 temps and a few more days to play in the leaves. high lights from our week.

Flash light tag with the kids in our back yard.

after noon football.

what a fabulous fall. I think I've said that before.

Parker seemed to not mind these family photos!! If only all family photos weren't as fun. I'm so glad you have a super advanced technological clock. I'm sure it matches your super advanced technological DVD player!! And your 'big screen t.v.'!!!

This cracks me up. Your super high tech alarm to match your super big screen as Annie said. I've always wondered how many people this happens to. It happened to a family in our ward yesterday. Their daughters came into YW right at the end. Missed the whole first hour of church. Hilarious.
