Deer Hunting Season

Viewer discretion is advised...

The hunting Season has begun for the Spratling Boys!

My son is growing up when this is better than Saturday morning cartoons. After 12 years Bruce finally has his hunting buddy.

This is KILL # 3

We started with , a turkey... gobble, a 3 point buck, and 4 Hungarian partridges in a pear tree.

seasons

Sidney's piece "Spring" chalk and glue on construction paper. She drew the picture with Elmer's glue and then when it dried she colored it with chalk. It's fun to see her creative mind work.

I could go for Spring right now. I love planting my flowers from seeds and watching them grow.

Now that Montana's fall has come and gone. All the beautiful yellow and orange leaves are gone from the trees and we are in the lovely shades of brown until May.

I am anxiously awaiting snow to kick off the ski season.

All Hallows Eve

Hannah had to make treats for her class Halloween Party. Pumpkin Face Crinkly cookies.

we started late and ended late but we had to get everything in...watching Charlie Brown's Halloween, carving pumpkins, roasting pumpkin seeds.

what real hunters feast upon

the dinner of champions. Saturday Bruce and Parker went turkey hunting and returned home with their KILL. Yes, you guessed it we had turkey for Sunday dinner.
Happy hubby, happy son. I guess, for them, life doesn't get much better than this.Posted by Picasa

Two extra hours added to our life.

We would like to thank congress for passing the new day light savings time from this week to next week. Our alarm clock went off at 5:30 am. Bruce (my farm boy) was up and ready to go. He jumped into the shower, shaved and was ready by 6am. He went to eat breakfast and iron his shirt for his 7am meeting when he noticed the kitchen clock said 7am. How could this be when our alarm clock said 6am. Day light savings visited us a week early due to our high technological clock that resets itself every fall and spring no one told it about the new law. So due to modern technology we get to enjoy the changing of mountain standard time twice. We are blessed with two extra hours this year!

So this is just a friendly reminder that this weekend you set your clocks backward an hour thus getting an extra hour of sleep.

To update everyone the kids and I were on time for church and all is well. We are still on day light saving time for one more week.

Earlier this week we enjoyed beautiful fall weather. We were suppose to have a winter weather watch and 35 temp and snow but the storm by passed us and we are still enjoying 60 - 70 temps and a few more days to play in the leaves. high lights from our week.

Flash light tag with the kids in our back yard.

after noon football.

what a fabulous fall. I think I've said that before.
