Winter

The longest time for snow to remain on the ground in Montana is 174 days; we are at 140 days and counting. I love the earth covered in a blanket of white....it is a lot better than what we usually have: BROWN. The down fall is that it covers up tracks when someone decides to break the review window of your minivan.
Last Monday I arrived home to find Parker's mode of transportation had been violated. Someone threw a 3 inch piece of concrete through the window!?!? We live out in the country, not in a major crime city. Oh well I guess it can happen anywhere. WE only wish they had thrown it at the windshield since it is already chipped and cracked from rocks. Oh well, all is well now and Parker has a lovely brand spank'in new 1996, heated rear view window. It is mighty fine.

Where did you find out the record for how many days snow has been on the ground? Interesting you would think to look it up! LOL

Great pictures. Bailey told me all about the van on the ride home. I wonder if they got a lot of enjoyment out of breaking your window? So silly!!

I heard the tid bit from a friend, who heard it from the weather man. Nothing else to report on but the snow so they feed us nifty facts.:)

Parker, the only thing I can see good about driving a mini-van is being able to remove the rear seats, driving to Costco or Wally-mart, and filling up all the space with a two-year supply of Mountain Dew. Forget the wheat and beans and other type storage items. In bad times, you will be able to trade for anything you need. Plus, in good times, you can rotate this storage on a daily, if not hourly, basis, and just re-stock via the mini-van at your convenience
