Saturdays Project

We had a total of 8 eight regular doors to hang or I should say, Stanley (Bruce's cousin) did. Bruce watched, assisted and learned much. Bruce loves learning the skill of carpentry. He can use it when we build our next home...I don't think so. Carpentry is a great skill to know but we are not building any time soon. Maybe storage shelves but that's about it. These are the bedroom doors - The closet doors in the girls rooms

Hey Nat
I remember the mudding and taping. Ripping it back off or it just falling off by itself. When Nicole and I did it. Then we would wait for JR to come home and clean up our mess. We was always so excited. At least it is almost done.

It's looking sooooo good. I may need to come and do the inspection.

I love your door selection. We also have the doors with the beadboard look on them. I love this look. You guys have been so busy. We were just there in November and I bet your basement looks like a completely different house. I have been in project mode-maybe I need to swing by your house and start working.

Amie, I wish I could take credit for the cookies. They are from Target. Yummy short bread topped with chocolate. I would love to find a recipe to make them.
