Yellowstone

The Boiling River

Feeding the wildlife

Sheepeaters Cliff

What do you get when you take eight teenagers, and six kids to Yellowstone...a lot of complaining. This is our 2nd and last annual trip to Yellowstone. We tried to explore the park and enjoy the wonders of nature but we had a lot of comments from the kids: "Are we there yet".... With two cars and twenty five people (it looked like the scene at the circus when all of the clowns get out of the little car) it was a major event just to go anywhere. The kids were excited to be with their cousins, not walking around. The best part of the trip was the boiling river, roasting marshmallows, seeing a black bear, and just chill'in with the cousins.

We have limited our Yellowstone trip to just one thing every year. We camp in the Tetons then take one afternoon and see one thing. Driving around the park has become quite a joke. My kids HATE being in the car that long.

Where is boiling river?

We are going up there over Labor Day. Maybe that can be our one spot this year.

so funny. Love the pic of the squirrel. And the picture that shows how thrilled the girls are to be there. So funny. When's your next trip to Oregon or Rexeburg?

Devin and I want Shelly to take us cross country skiing sometime.... wanna come?

maybe i'm being overzealous with a soon to be newborn, but we are so excited to be in the west!
