He's SOME PIG!

We're off to the fair. Parker's pig weighed in at 210 pounds, yes that is underweight. To compete in all the competitions he had to be between 220-285. He was just not big enough but he was able to compete in showmanship and market. Showmanship is where Parker is judged on how he can direct his pig and get him to go where he wants him to go. Market is where the pig is judged (the ultimate beauty contest) on overall appearance.

The bottom picture was taken during showmanship. If you look carefully you can see Bruce (the proud parent) in the upper right corner of the picture. He's listening to what the judge has to say about Parker's pig. "Great overall he just needs to gain weight.

The auction is on Saturday. Anyone wanting to buy this lovely gem of a pig just give us a bid. He's Terrific!

Can I enter that beauty contest? Parker's pig is by far the cutest one there. Good job Parker. I'd buy him if I hadn't seen a picture of him first!

I'll be bidding $4.89 for at least part of the pig when I order a double-bacon cheeseburger at Wendy's.

Don't you just love how pig beauty is judged by weight. I would love it if someone told me that I just didn't weigh enough to compete.

Could Parker be any cuter in that picture. His pig is terrific. What a fun way of life up there in Montana. I just love it!

That's a cool pig Parker. Hi Nat I need to get your blog address again. I change my background and it erases all my contacts. I have finally updated my blog page. Hurray. Your pictures are really cute.
