1st Day only 3 weeks late

The first day of school. This year Parker rules the roost being in 8th grade. The girls are so excited to be in junior high lockers and all. They now get to walk to school since we live just a few minutes away. Parker loves that he can leave whenever he is ready.
A few things that I love-
  • My son (who is now taller than me)
  • My blondie who does whatever I ask (most the times)
  • My little helper who knows how much I enjoy a clean home.
  • My little Sid who loves to tell me everything and share all of her thoughts with me.
  • I'm loving that school has begun just for the fact that we have a schedule again.
  • I love that we live just minutes from the school - it is great since the girls started basketball and they can walk to practice.
  • I love that I have 8 hours a day to accomplish my list of things to do....and yet I have not completed one thing on it.
  • I love being in our new home and that we have a basement.

The New House

These are photos of the inside of the house. I will leave the basement and family room for another time.

Notice the bottom three photos. We are keeping it real! These are the kids rooms. The first one is Parker room. Notice how he has everything nice and tidy. A place for everything and everything in it's place. The lovely deer found it's place in this room. They will be happy roommates. The middle picture is of the girls room. It is wall to wall beds and let me mention the walls are very bright and vibrant (pink, purple, blue and green with a bright sunshine yellow ceiling). They will be sharing this colorful space until we finish the basement expected date November if all goes well. Then the last is the kids bathroom notice the empty toilet paper roll (with four in a bathroom I think this will always be the case.)
This is my favorite room in the house, our living room. It is the first room you enter when you come in the front door. A place where we can visit, read and just enjoy all that come to visit. Yes, that is an open invitation to all of my blogging friends and family.

I'm Back!

So much has happend in the last month I thought I would update my blogging friends and family. "Let's start at the very beginning....It's a very good place to start". No, I will not break into song, though I know how much my Dad would love it. But, "These are a few of my favorite things" (Bailey took these pictures. She, "wanted to remember the house". How sweet.)

"So long, farewell Auf Weidersehen, goodbye."
