Feeding Time
Another sign of Spring is feeding our friends lambs. Each year our friend picks up 12-14 lambs and raises them. For 3 - 4 weeks we get to help out with their feedings. You feed them milk from a bottle. She has them all numbered so we know which lamb we have fed. The kids love taking care of them. She feeds them every 6 hours (6am, noon, 6pm and midnight). We help out with the 6pm feeding. The girls really want to do a midnight feeding...we'll see. The baby lambs are so cute, they just nuzzle right up to you. It is so fun watching the kids with them. They (my kids) can't get enough of them (the lambs) or maybe it's the lambs can't get enough of my kids. All I know is that my kids are in heaven. If it was up to my girls we would help out with every feeding.

Happy Birthday Dad!
Today is my Dad's 65th Birthday He has arrived. My dad enjoys many things from drawing to carving to story telling. These are also the things my kids love about him. The kids love when he sends them letters and he draws pictures on them. When Parker became a scout he carved him a walking stick for his future boy scout hikes and painted most of the scout symbols on it. It is quite the walking stick and Parker loves to take it on his hikes. The stories are a classics. My kids love to have Grandpa tell them bed time stories when he comes to visit or when we visit them. The funny thing though is he tells them so many stories that he sometimes forget where he left of but the kids are always good to remind him.
This past year my Dad had two new knees put in. You would think he was the 6 - Million Dollar Man - I haven't seen him since his last surgery, but whenever I call he's running all over Mesa, Arizona. (they have turned into snowbirds and headed south for the winter) If we can ever get them back up our way we'll have to challenge him to a race.
Have a fabulous day Dad! We Love You.
