Our 4th of July - Campout

We went up to Red Lodge, 45 min South West of Billings and camped. We hiked

to several water falls, went Geocaching and found some hidden treasures. The kids

played in the river. We enjoyed great food and visited with friends. A perfect

way to celebrate our independence.

oh man I miss mountains! Your pictures make me want to move to Montana. No seriously. No tornadoes there right? Or floods or earthquakes or ice storms? How about deadly lightening that kills more people than car wrecks? Yah Montana sounds good right about now.

I love the pictures, what a trip. I love making memories like that with the kids. We just went to Bryce Canyon and the kids squeal with joy when we mention the "red rock mountains" as they call Bryce.

I need to return to Montana very soon. I'm sure Parker has not had enough Mountain Dew Since the Mount Rushmore trip.
