Photo Friday - Bailey's Name Sake

In our family we named our children after a friend or family member that we admire and love. Bailey Nicole was named after her Great-Grandma Bailey, my mother's mother. Here, she is with her family (front and center with the little white bow in her hair). She was born in Oslo, Norway May 20, 1900. This picture was taken when she was 3 years old in 1903 just before they immigrated to America. Nicole is from my sister Nicole. She is always laughing....hopefully Bailey will inherit her joy and zest for life.

I love that picture and all of their serious looks. My things have changed. I can't seem to get a picture of my family without someone pulling a face or rabbit ears.
Would you tell Parker that I almost bought him a shirt at Target tonight but I thought you wouldn't appreciate it. It was the one he's been wanting that says "I do my own stunts." Mike and i came close to getting it. I value our friendship too much.
